For those of you who may or may not know, one of my favorite vegetarian/vegan restaurants is Life Alive in Cambridge. I absolutely love their Swami bowl. It’s my favorite thing on their menu. I wanted to find a way to duplicate it myself so that I could make it at home. After some trial and error, I was able to put together a recipe that I think comes pretty close to the original. I hope you enjoy it with all its curry deliciousness!
Happy March everyone! Can you believe how fast the year is going by?! As some of you may know, the season of Lent started this past Wednesday on March 1 and lasts 40 days until April 13. As part of my church community, I am fasting during Lent. I’ve given up sweets, dairy and meat. Through trial and error I’ve come up with some healthy, tasty and filling recipes that are my go-to’s for Lent. I’ll be sharing more recipes throughout the month, but I wanted to start off sharing a healthy breakfast inspiration. Even if you are not fasting, you can incorporate these recipes into your diet as healthy alternatives.
