Happy holidays! I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas. I wanted to share this festive and easy apple cider mimosa recipe. These cider mimosas combine the flavors of the holidays to get you in a festive mood. Enjoy for brunch or to toast the new year!
All you need are five ingredients to recreate this drink. I found the André champagne I used in this recipe at the new Wegmans in Medford. I highly recommend checking Wegmans out. They have a nice selection of foods and drinks you may not find in your typical grocery store. The apple and citrus flavors of the champagne complement the cider well. If you’d prefer to make an alcohol free mimosa, try Polar’s Cranberry Cider flavored seltzer.
Before you start, make sure your cider, champagne, and/or seltzer are chilled. Mix sugar and cinnamon together in a small plate or bowl. Wet the rim of your glass with water then dip in the sugar mixture, making sure it’s fully coated. Fill your glass about 1/3 to 1/2 full of champagne or seltzer. Top with the apple cider and garnish with an apple slice. Cheers!
